HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Eastern Birmingham, Trussville, Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Springville, Odenville, Margaret, Argo, Bald Rock, Shops of Grand River, Alton, Barber Motorsports Park, Branchville, Lake Purdy, Grants Mill Road Bridge, Chula Vista, Birmingham Race Course, and Camp Winnataska. This includes the following highways... Interstate 459 between mile markers 28 and 33. Interstate 59 between mile markers 136 and 139, and between mile markers 144 and 148. Interstate 20 between mile markers 135 and 155. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
