About this recording
Published 2026-05-10. The tornado was there… but people couldn’t see it. On May 6th, a powerful rain-wrapped EF3 tornado tore through southern Mississippi, hidden behind heavy rain, darkness, trees, and lightning. This tornado tracked for over 66 miles, lasted nearly two hours, produced winds around 136 mph, and reportedly lofted debris up to nearly 27,000 feet — almost the height of Mount Everest.
